Feb     “Camaro Thunder” name and “Cloud and Lightning Bolt” logo appeared on the Newsletter
Lewis (Luke) Zinn designed the current club logo “Arch with blue bow tie and word Camaro”.  This logo is unchanged except for the USCC, which has been dropped.

April   Spring Cruise to Washington, MO
May     Sponsored a car show in conjunction with Camaro Legends Tour at Albrecht-Hamlin
         dealership in Wood River, IL.
Jul     Gateway Camaro Club purchased a “brick” at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling
         Green Ky.  It was placed near other “F Body” Car Clubs.
Aug     Tues Aug 27 the last Camaro and Firebird came off the line in Ste. Therese, Canada.
         The last Camaro was a Rally Red Z28 convertible.
Oct     Fall cruise to Pere Marquette State Park for burgers and brats, and then the Golden Eagle
         Ferry to St. Charles Co.  Ferry ride was a first for some folks.

Jan     The Jan meeting created an activities committee made up of Ron & Michelle Schneider,
         Chuck Connoyer, Jim Shockley, Mike Steitz, Steve Blumfelder, Jim Hairston.
          Membership card for paid members was reinstated and sent out with the newsletter..
          Club By-Laws adopted and officially changed.  Major points were Sec./Treas. combined
          into one office, and Board of Directors was reduced from 5 to 2.
Feb     First Bowling Nite out held at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hazelwood, MO.
Mar     Club participated in the World of Wheels show in the Edward Jones Dome.  
          2nd place for club display 
Apr     Spring Cruise to Cuiver River State Park.  Cruised up Hwy 79 to Elsberry.       
          Lunch was served at the Hauser House in Elsberry.
Jul      Saturday Nite out to attend Horse Races and Dinner at Fairmont Park in Illinois.
Jul      GCC/KCC picnic held at the Oneal’s house in Booneville, MO. 
          KCCC won trophy for most Camaros
Oct     Fall cruise to Washington, MO.  Lunch at Cowan’s in Washington.
Oct     GCC and Northgate Senior Living Community  in Florissant, co-sponsored a car show

          raise in dues since 1989.  The club joined the Fuddruckers Benefit Night Program with
          20% of receipts returned to club.
